Beverly West overlooks The Los Angeles Country Club, in keeping with its high-end reputation. It is a five minute drive from Beverly Hills and just 15 minutes from Hollywood. Located on Wilshire Corridor, or the Golden Mile, Beverly West sits at the north end of a two-mile stretch of luxury condos. The community of Bel Air is to the north. The University of California, Los Angeles is just a few minutes west.  The community of Westwood, in which Beverly West is located, is often the site of movie openings and houses several iconic theaters, including the Art Deco Crest, the Mann Village and Bruin Theater.  There are a number of schools, in addition to UCLA, and libraries less than a mile away. There are several markets in the area, including the Century City Farmers Market, less than a mile away. There's plenty of shopping located just over a half mile away, though if that doesn't suffice, there's always Beverly Hills. 
The most notable local green space is Los Angeles Country Club, across the street from Beverly West, though there are public green areas nearby as well. There are a number of nearby bus routes, just feet from Beverly West. And, for those interested, the Playboy Mansion is just a five minute drive away.
Beverly West is a statement of 'progressive modernism. . Designed by architectural firm Keathing/Khang, the original developer was Fifield Cos., but was bought by John Laing Homes, a division of Emaar, a luxury developer with iconic holdings in the United Arab Emirates. This was their first American holding.  The building itself has a facade of glass and granite that is meant to interact with blue and clouds. 
Layout and Features
Unit layouts and features are customized to the preferences of each Beverly West Resident. All units are outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances and finishes will all be of the highest quality once chosen. Units come in 2 and 3 bedroom formats. Units do not lack for space, as there are only 35 units in the 22 story building. The penthouse comes with such features as his and hers master bathrooms, a cinema room, a billiard room, a walk-in wine storage room (it doesn't seem right calling it a cellar if its on the 22nd floor) and a gym. The more modest residences offer a huge amount of space in their open-planned design, though fixtures, appliances and finishes are of no less quality.

Beverly West offers some of the best available amenities to its residents. Parking is never an issue at Beverly West as its 35 residences are serviced by over 100 parking spots and valet parking.  Other amenities include 24 hour lobby staff, including a concierge whom residents can contact through touch screen in their unit, a security team, a 'community' manager, an in-suite trash chute, a state-of-the-art gym, with Pilates room, a salt water pool, whirlpool, conference center, an outdoor landscaped lounge, with barbeque and housekeepers units for purchase.

Pets are allowed in Beverly West. There are no age requirements in the building. A barbeque is provided in the lounge area.
Luxury, not green amenities were top of mind for developers. The small number of units means that this building is not covered by green development ordinances required by the city. The ability for residents to customize their units, allowing for some incorporation of green elements. Valet parking also offers some green benefits. A farmers market is less than a mile away easy access to bus routes offers the green-centric resident some piece of mind.
The Beverly West's developer, Emaar, is world famous for developing the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world's tallest building, which opened in 2010 
While the Beverly West was conceived prior to the economic slow down, numerous building delays actually ended up helping sales in the Beverly West, while crippling its competition. The delays allowed the Beverly West to avoid the worst of the downturn in the condo market and then sell units at rates inline with pre-downturn prices.
