A tremendously new addition to the upscale Century City area of Los Angeles, Legendary Century City certainly has a reputation to uphold. Fortunately for everyone involved, it seems more than up to the challenge.
Built in 2012, the structure is noticeably different from the typical luxury condominium in terms of scale; with only four floors and 14 units, there is no doubt that Legendary Century City is on the smaller side. Of course, the size of a building has little to no bearing on its quality, and Legendary Century City possesses quality in spades. Indeed, its developers, Legendary Developments LLC, have made a name for themselves by building residences that are both small and highly luxurious. Their latest building follows that trend and refines it, resulting in a place that someone would be proud to call home.
With well equipped units, an excellent neighborhood, and some generous amenities, Legendary Century City is an excellent choice for the discerning buyer who wants to experience some of the best that Los Angeles has to offer.
Located on 1807 South Beverly Glen in Century City, Los Angeles, anyone who lives in Legendary Century City will find themselves in the heart of a thriving business district. Century City is perhaps best known for the cavalcade of businesses that have offices in the district; the most prominent example is 20th Century Fox, whose Fox Plaza is still the corporate headquarters of the company. MGM also had its head office there at one point, but opted to change locations in 2011. The Creative Artists Agency is another famous firm operating out of Century City, and is the leading talent agency in Hollywood, with luminaries like Jennifer Aniston and Daniel Craig counting themselves as part of their roster.
As expected of an upscale neighborhood like Century City, there are plenty of shops and boutiques for residents to peruse at their leisure. The terrain is flat and easy to traverse, so residents without cars will still be able to complete their daily errands without much fuss. There is also bus service as an alternative, though unfortunately, there is no light rail system servicing the district.
Legendary Century City is a traditionally constructed condominium, with the concrete exterior giving the building a clean but rather unassuming look. The design gets a little bit more ambitious closer to the roof deck/penthouse area, but besides that the structure does not have a whole lot of exciting innovation in its design. Of course, there is arguably nothing wrong with that; the building, while not particularly vibrant, is still handsome in its appearance, and is also well constructed.
Layout and Features
The structure has 41 units split among four floors, with a total of five possible floor plans. The units range in size from 783 square feet to 1913 square feet and come in one and two bedroom configurations.
Standard unit features include hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances from Bosch, ceramic tile bathroom flooring, and Silestone counter tops.
Other features include a roof deck and a fitness center.
A selection of floor plans are below, with the rest being available from Legendary Century City's official website.
Legendary Century City offers a variety of amenities, such as:
- Fitness center
- Rooftop deck
- Secured parking
- Controlled access
- Designer carpeting
|Legendary Century City Bylaws|
- Units cannot be rented
- Pets are permitted
- There is no age restriction on residents
- Barbecues available on rooftop deck
Legendary Century City was not constructed with a green lifestyle in mind. However, it is no worse than many of its contemporaries and residents wishing to lessen their impact on the environment can easily do so by walking or taking transit in lieu of driving. Recycling is always a green option open to people as well, as is making the choice to actively use less water/electricity day to day.
- Legendary Century City actually has one of the higher unit counts for a Legendary Developments project; another structure in its portfolio, Sabine, only has 12
- Unsurprisingly, the word legendary is something of a developer trademark; one of their previous buildings was named Legendary Place
- Is one of many Century City buildings to have the word century in its name
