Background

Sky is a concrete high-rise in Lower Lonsdale. The land was purchased by Seagate Ventures in 2003 at a cost of $9-million. When the project went to market as a pre-sale, every unit was sold even before the site excavation was completed.

The building is popular with owners and renters alike.

Sky is located on the South side of 2nd Street, half a block West of Lonsdale.

It is just five minutes' walk to the Lonsdale Quay, which houses a public transit bus depot and the SeaBus foot passenger ferry to downtown Vancouver.

Sky is located close to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, banks, a grocery store and cinemas, all within walking distance. Directly to the South and East of Sky is Jack Loucks Memorial Park. Directly to the East will be the Capstone, a new project being offered by Seagate Ventures.
